Veronica Parlagreco (1995) is an Italian dancer living in Berlin (DE) and working around Europe.
Veronica Parlagreco is an Italian freelance dancer and choreographer, based in Berlin and active across Europe.
She trained at D.A.F. – Dance Arts Faculty in Rome, where she took part in creations by Caroline Finn, Vladimir Varnava, Noa and Rina Wertheim, Thomas Noone, and Didy Veldman.
After moving to Berlin, she has worked as a performer with choreographers such as Joy Alpuerto Ritter, Isabella Harritz, Rocio Pez, Yasmin Schönmann, Chiani Del Valle, Pamela Moraga, and Holger Seidelin. She has danced with Eigengrau Company, directed by Kira Metzler and Riccardo Berardi, and as a guest dancer at the Staatstheater Oldenburg.
Alongside her work as a performer, Veronica develops a personal choreographic research that investigates the body as a site of identity construction and as an archive of memories and stratifications. Her work unfolds at the boundary between everyday gesture and performative action, exploring the tension between tradition and transformation, between repetition, stillness, and the possibility of resistance. Sound plays a central role in her creative process, conceived as a dramaturgical space in constant dialogue with movement.
Among her most recent creations, the solo St(r)ati, created thanks to the initiave INNESTI“ 25 promoted by IterCulture, received both the Critics’ Award and the Technical Award at the Le Voci dell’Anima Festival in 2025. In the same year, Veronica was awarded the Radici Residency Prize, promoted by Farm Cultural Park (Favara), where she developed the solo Giuiuzza in collaboration with musician and director Federico Pipia, with the support of Scenario Pubblico. Giuiuzza was also selected for a residency at the Compañía Nacional de Danza in Madrid. In 2026 Giuiuzza is winner of of Danza Urbana XL „26 an initiative from Anticorpi XL
Veronica continues to create and deepen her artistic research: her upcoming projects include a residency at MLYN3D (Poland) together with dancer Giulia Russo, for the creation of the duet Can you see me now? .
