Veronica Parlagreco (1995) is an Italian dancer living in Berlin (DE) and working around Europe.
She graduated from D.A.F. (dance art faculty), Rome, It, a three years professional training program, where she has worked in creations with Caroline Finn, Vladimir Varnava, Noa and Rina Whertem, Thomas Noone and Didi Veldman.
Since moving to Berlin in 2019, she has worked with choreographer Joy Alpuerto Ritter from Akram Khan dance company in movie production “Silence of Mercy“ and with choreographer Yasmin Schönmann for “POWER – movement research” and restage of “Worship” and “Sisters”, both production invited to be performed at Festival Blois, France in 2020. In October 2022 she is a dancer at Eigengrau Company, directed by Kira Metzler and Riccardo Bernardi for the production KRUK, premiered at Neue bühne Friedrichshain, Berlin,
In the same year she worked as a dancer with choreographer Chatal Kohlmeyer for the creation of Credo premiered in Studio Pro Arte, Freiburg. In the same year she was selected to be part of the audition/ research week for the new production of Akram Khan Company.
In 2023 she is a dancer in BLUE by choreographer Pamela Moraga;
She is working with choreographer Rocío Péz for the solo project “Another resistance Womb”; She is a dancer in Oximoron dance Company for the production “ Tanz Weit Draußen”
and she collaborates with choreographer Amanda Donato, Isabella Harritz and Kiani del Valle.
In November 2023 she will be guest dancer at Theater Oldenburg, under the direction of choreographer Antoine Jully.
Veronica´s curious artistic mind led her to a choreographic path. In collaboration with music composer Samuel Poma and dancer Silvia Remgio, she choreographed and danced in “Has someone Seen Tyler Durden?” a contemporary duo that premiered in Berlin in September 2021 and was selected for TanzNetz Dresden #studioround2.
She then created her solo “The importance of being Myself” with music of composer Samuel Poma, premiered in December 2021 in Berlin at Neue Bühne Friedrichshain. The solo was selected for the Gdański Festiwal Tańca, Poland and for the 30th anniversary of Quinzena de Dança de Almada – International Dance Festival, Almada, Portugal.
In 2024 she creates St(r)ati, a contemporary solo premiere in July in Kulturhaus Karlshorst BE and also performed in Biarritz FR and Radialsystem BE.
Since 2022 she is co-founder of monsterA collective, an art collective working with dance, visual art and film. The collective created the dance movie “separazione naturale” selected for the Fifth Wall Fest Competition 2022 and finalist of the Interfaccia Digitale, and also a dance performance “Grenzen”, already performed in Berlin many times
